Sometimes we spend so much time worrying about what we didn’t do in the past and and this detracts and stops us focussing on what we need to do now, what we need to do in the moment. A friend of mine contacted me, she’s going through marital problems. The truth is she’s been going through these problems for many years. She said: “Yeah I'm just waking up and feel sick at the length of time it's taken me and the age that I am at now it's really scary. But necessity.” I said: “It’s never too late! You’re doing it now and that’s the main thing. Stay in the moment and focus on what you have to do now. Don’t look back and worry about what you didn’t do. None of that matters, what matters is what you do now.” I’m going to be there for her and support her in whatever she decides to do. #friendship What advice would you give to my friend? What have you been putting off and how does this impact on your mental health and well being? #stress #anxiety #mindfulness#EverydayCHPsychology #depression #psychology #mentalhealth #mentalhealthawareness #wellbeing #resilience
